Geoglyph brings together landscapes that resemble the letters of the alphabet. A bend in a river, a ring of water, a line across a desert: viewed from orbit, familiar forms begin to appear.

The collection currently holds 72 Landsat images covering 26 letters. The images are real satellite observations; some use false colour to reveal features of the landscape. Locations are provided as approximate geographic references.
Geoglyph is inspired by NASA’s Your Name in Landsat. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA or USGS.
